Tsunami siren test on Sunday 4 April
A friendly reminder, at noon this Sunday 4 April Auckland Emergency Management will be testing the tsunami siren network across the Auckland region. This is a test we do twice a year with the change of day light saving. When the sirens sound, you are not required to do anything. During the test, the sirens may sound a number of times for a maximum of 10 minutes. On Sunday, we will only be testing the siren network, not all forms of alerts.
You can find out more info about our siren testing and the locations of the tsunami sirens here: ourauckland.aucklandcouncil.govt.nz...
