Fireworks

Diane from Mount Wellington

What sort of people think its ok to let off loud fireworks at 4am. I can only conclude that they are selfish inconsiderate idiots. I was not having the best night sleep and to be woken at that time made me pretty angry. But worse than what it was like for me, what about the mothers with young babies, and peoples pets. I have never been a great fan of fireworks but once upon a time people had the good sense and consideration to only let them off on the 5th November. I know this sounds like a stuck record, but the sooner the sale of fireworks are banned for the general public the better. I'm off now to try and catch up on some zzzz

Poll: Should drivers retake the theory test every 10 years?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

Drivers get where they need to go, but sometimes it seems that we are all abiding by different road rules (for example, the varying ways drivers indicate around a roundabout).
Do you think drivers should be required to take a quick driving theory test every 10 years?

Vote in the poll and share any road rules that you've seen bent! 😱
