Save-the-date for this annual event - enjoy a family day out amongst nature as Pūkaha National Wildlife Centre opens its doors to the community. Discover wildlife, native forest walks, ranger talks, fun kids activities, arts and crafts, market stalls & food, face painting, and much more. BYO food & drinks and picnic at the tables inside the reserve or get a range of food to suit all dietary requirements from the Kākā café. Bring cash for food and market stalls. KOHA ENTRY

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)

Little Jewels Exhibition & Silent Auction this Friday at Aratoi

Denver Grenell from Masterton & Martinborough isite Visitor Centres

Enjoy a night surrounded by artworks in this year's Provincial Insurance Broker's Little Jewels exhibition opening night. Works are sold via Silent Auction, with works starting at $150.

Works have been donated by well known artists including Iwen Wong, Kathy Bartlett, Gabby O'Connor, Jane Sinclair, Rob McLeod, Richard Reddaway and many others. All work is anonymous!

Tickets: $10 per person. Some doors sales available on the night, but limited numbers apply.
