Student returns with jazz group and own compositions

Ex-Taupōnui-a-Tia College student Denholm Orr will present a series of his own compositions in Taupō on October 10.

Orr will lead 'Silhouette' a six-piece jazz band consisting of members from Taupō, Rotorua and Auckland playing his modern jazz compositions ranging from swing, to Latin, to funk.

The concert at St Andrew's Church, Titiraupenga Street from 5-6pm will include light refreshments from 4.30pm.

Entry is $10 at the door, cash only.
