Poll: Time running out for Akaroa wastewater public feedback

Jake Kenny Reporter from Community News

POLL: Akaroa’s wastewater treatment plan is open for public feedback for a limited time.

There are four proposed options – one is to continue discharging the wastewater into Akaroa harbour while the other three are to use it to irrigate new areas of native trees at various sites on Banks Peninsula.

Public feedback closes on Sunday, August 23. More info here.

Which of the four options do you think is best? Vote below.

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

Drivers get where they need to go, but sometimes it seems that we are all abiding by different road rules (for example, the varying ways drivers indicate around a roundabout).
Do you think drivers should be required to take a quick driving theory test every 10 years?

Vote in the poll and share any road rules that you've seen bent! 😱
