help us understand support for elderly in our community
The Community Wellbeing Network - Orakei is wanting to gain a snapshot of how easy you find it to enjoy wellbeing in your local community today.
By completing their Online Survey (see link below) your views will contribute to the development of more targeted support for wellbeing in our community, in particular for seniors.
The survey aligns with the World Health Organisation’s age-friendly communities model, and is supported by funding from the Orakei Local Board.
For more information on this survey, please contact Colin Rose at Community Wellbeing Network (CWN) - Orakei on: 021-987-220 or email at cwn.orakei@gmail.com.
It should take only a few minutes to complete the survey and you don’t need to supply your name.
Thanks so much
Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.

85.5% Yes
