Tutors Wanted!
Riverside Community Trust is a charitable trust promoting education in the Nelson-Tasman region via its programme 'Tending our Living Earth'. (Riverside Milk is one of the trust's income sources).
We are currently looking for new tutors who can deliver workshops and learning opportunities to local children and adults. Tutors are compensated, supported and appreciated.
Because our not-for-profit education programme is solely set out to inspire and benefit other people in our wider community, you will be part of a broader movement where locals support locals;) We would love to welcome you to Riverside Education.
Whether you are skilled in ancient crafts such as basket weaving, an up-cycling legend or have precious knowledge to share, please don't be shy.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.
