This issue is pretty special in the 40 year history of the publication. It’s the first time the magazine has been produced under lock down, it’s full colour, offset printed and now doubling in circulation to include our local friends and neighbours in RD5 and RD9.
Due to the impact of COVID, we’ve had to switch printers from Zebra Design, who have kindly supported us for many years. Poll: Do you think an age check is required for these drinks?
Stores are checking IDs for fancy soft drinks and not everyone is happy about it.
One shopper, who asked not to be named, bought some zero alcohol branded drinks at his local supermarket and was asked to “step around into the thoroughfare so a supervisor could see me and make sure I was over 18. I couldn't believe it."
