Helping Our Coffee Clubs Survive
After talking to the great folks at No. 6 Cafe in Raumati Beach, I've been thinking (don't laugh).
Why don't we bring in a 'voluntary' 10% donation on all coffees until the end of the year?
Hopefully, this would help the cafes we love to recover from the grievous blows inflicted by the Lockdown.
Helen and I are happy to do this. How about you? Customers could just add 'pay it forward' or something similar when they ordered.
If the Lockdown has shown us anything, it's shown us just what we can do when we combine to tackle a problem!
Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.
