“You are Awesome” Day
A BIG Shout out to Dave, our Cookie Time Rep, who donated a box of original cookies to our PaknSave Kilbirnie store team members.
I handed them out today to everyone, along with a store gift voucher to celebrate my self inspired “You are Awesome Day”
Under the leadership of Dean and Brett our staff are working extra hard to make sure the public can be safe while visiting our store, as well as making sure that as quickly as stock arrives it is put out on the shelves for purchase.
Please be kind to our staff. It’s a tough day when someone grumbles/gets angry at us. Most things are outside of our control. We are all doing the best we can inside Alert Level 4. If it takes a few extra minutes to get your shopping scanned (due to sanitising the checkout in between shoppers) then it’s because we want to ensure the conveyor belt, screen and eftpos keypad are virus free.
Please be kind to your fellow shoppers too. They are in just the same situation as you.
To those customers who thanked me today as they saw me walking around the store, I’m glad I got to give you a smile or chuckle too.

Poll: Should drivers retake the theory test every 10 years?
Drivers get where they need to go, but sometimes it seems that we are all abiding by different road rules (for example, the varying ways drivers indicate around a roundabout).
Do you think drivers should be required to take a quick driving theory test every 10 years?
Vote in the poll and share any road rules that you've seen bent! 😱
