Cheviot and Leeston-Southbridge going head-to-head in country cricket final

Cheviot and Leeston-Southbridge will battle it out for top honours in country cricket's showcase final at Mainpower Oval in Rangiora on Saturday.

Defending CRV Ambreed Country Premier One Day champions Leeston-Southbridge have endured a mixed season, suffering when their Canterbury Country players have been away on representative duties.

A repeat of last year's semi-final nail biter, where Leeston-Southbridge pipped Cheviot by eight runs, starts at Mainpower Oval in Rangiora at 11am on Saturday. Spectators welcome.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
