Strawberry Picking - $5 per kg, no entry fee, no minimum spend

Anita from Huapai - Kumeu

Zaknich Farms (one of New Zealand's premium growers) has opened one of their farms for the first time for picking your own strawberries located at 125 Waitakere Road, Waitakere, Auckland (near Waitakere Township).

Only $5 per kg, no entry fee, no minimum spend. Season to end mid/late January.

We also highly recommend you bring your own shallow containers to pick in to, as this will be the best way to transport your berries home, as you don't want them to turn into jam from the summer heat by the time you get home. Even better, if you have chilly bins/cooler bags with ice to cool down your berries as well.

Happy Picking!

Price: $5

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.
