Tuesday Market Day!!
The forecast is looking good for the Mahara Midweek Market tomorrow. Tyrone and Robyn will be back with their lovely fresh veg, Helena has made some lovely lightweight infinity scarves, great for Christmas presents, or pick up a pair of Carole's earrings as a stocking filler. If you've got friends visiting from out of town - how about a bottle of olive oil produced in Reikorangi or some Waikanae Beach honey? We've also got three new stalls coming tomorrow, so come and have a look!
Mahara Place every Tuesday outside the empty shops from 11am - 1.30pm. See you there!!!
Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.
