ROTORUA NEEDS YOUR VOTE !!
Thank you to all the people who came out to our filled-to-capacity sessions recently. Going by the number of people who stayed afterwards to tackle candidates on the issues they were concerned about, everyone got value for their time.
Voter turnout is seriously low at this point in time ... and while there is still time till voting closes, some really important issues are on the table for solution in the next 3 years. The meetings showed up 2 very different styles of managing our city's current issues and our future. How you vote DOES matter, and not voting could produce a result you really did not want. If you have not received your papers yet, you can cast your votes at Lakes Rotorua Council Chambers - it does not take long !!
Poll: Is it rude to take a full trolley to self-checkout?
Luckily self-checkout is pretty common in supermarkets these days and we generally use it to quickly buy a few things without the long lines. But perhaps it's appropriate to head there with your full trolley to skip the lines?
What are your thoughts? Is that rude?
