Lawn Bowls
Lawn Bowls is a sport that Women and Men of all ages can enjoy. It is not just a sport for the elderly. Many of our top bowlers throughout the country are young people. It is great to be out in the sunshine during the summer months enjoying a friendly game of bowls. Massey Avenue Bowling Club in Woburn Lower Hutt is a super friendly club with a nice social attitude towards Bowls. We have 2 club days each week {Wednesday and Saturday} where you can come along join in a team and have a great afternoon playing bowls. We do have bowls you can use. The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
