INVITATION TO NEW MIGRANTS TO COME FOR LUNCH!
Are you quite new to Kapiti and our lovely country? Come and listen to a fascinating talk by Phillip Pithyou, Wellington’s District Ethnic Liaison Coordinator about his love of working with the community and especially meeting with refugees and new migrants and helping them understand New Zealand’s way of life and law enforcement policies. He says, “"In New Zealand, we police by consent. Gaining the trust and confidence of the public is a priority for us”.
The talk and lunch will be upstairs in Coastlands in the Rimu Room at 11.00am on 14 September and is entitled “Keeping Safe in New Zealand”. Please share this post with friends and neighbours who are new migrants – we would love to see them!
