Compost Mulch

Nathan and Lucie from

Autumn is my favourite time of the year.

Crisp mornings and cool nights, punctuated by foggy patches and lovely clear blue skies. The temperature has dropped and we desire some extra comfort food, a bit of heat from the fire and the electric blanket at the ready!

So how does the garden fare in this lovely Autumnal weather?

There is still warmth in the soil so it is a good time to get planting some winter veges and doing some garden maintenance. Prune your trees and fertilise your lawn so that it will stay healthy and green during the year.

Plant bulbs for a lovely spring surprise! (I deliberately don't name them or pay too much attention to what I am planting, which means I get a lovely surprise in spring. Sound a bit crazy? Try it- it does wonders for the winter blues.

Clean your garden tools so they are ready for your next burst of gardening.

Mulch your garden!

Call Masterton Mulch today to place your order!

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.
