Fascinating talk "Life Lesson" - Opera Entrepreneur
Soprano Georgia left the bright lights of Featherston to pursue an operatic career in Germany - she made a living as a professional singer, racking up close to 60 performances alone as the Queen of the Night in Mozart's The Magic Flute! Now back in NZ she is a librettist, linguist and lecturer and she has launched a theatre company, Wanderlust Opera. Come and hear her at another fascinating "Longwood Life Lessons" Friends of Kokomai talk - this Saturday March 24th 4.30pm . Get your ticket ($20) from us at either the Masterton or Martinborough i-SITE Visitor Centre.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
