Papanui High School is offering a Book Making Course, which will show students how to make Eco Books using simple traditional methods. This is a hands on workshop which will teach students the skills to make single and multi-section books. This course is being taught by Sandy Corbett and is held at Papanui High School on Saturday 16 February 10 am - 4.30 pm at a cost of $122. This fee includes the cost of all materials. Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)

WANTED - Hat Blocks & Hat Making Equipment PLEASE..

Can anyone help.. My daughter is interested in starting to attempt to make hats as a hobby.
I was wondering if anyone might have any old wooden hat blocks (similar to the one pictured) or any old hat making tools or equipment that they no longer use and would like them to go to a good home.
Happy to pay for these.
