Week end rain more than Dec total

John from East Invercargill

Rain from Friday to Sunday night was more than all of December combined with Dec being one third of average. So I guess the potential drought is over for now. With lots more rain forecast for the next week , apart from now on & tomorrow plus Saturday I guess those that like to have a bath ( or shower ) in the rain outside will be happy as a kid in a puddle. Oil continues to climb so I guess those 1.89 per litre days are gone for awhile.
