World Diabetes Day 2018
Today is World Diabetes Day and it's pretty scary to learn that 1 in 2 people currently living with type 2 diabetes is undiagnosed.
Early diagnosis and treatment are key to prevent the complications of diabetes and achieve healthy outcomes.
All families are potentially affected by diabetes and so awareness of the signs, symptoms and risk factors for all types of diabetes are vital to help detect it early.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
