Kids BJJ

Daniela from Karaka Bays

Hi Parents,

Have you been thinking of putting your little one into a martial art?

Benefits of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu that specifically target children are:

teaches discipline

provides an outlet for energy and stress

promotes self-defense

making more friends

anti-bullying

develops focus, listening and leadership skills

I'm currently looking to start a kids class, but we cannot begin until we have at least 6 children in each age group.

The 2 classes would be on Saturdays at starting at 10:00am in at Endorphinz Gym in Miramar.

Please bring a pair of jandals to wear off the mat. No footwear is allowed on the mat.

Please bring a drink bottle

A Gi (uniform) is not necessary for starting out but you will need one for grading.

Gi’s can be purchased from Fuji Mae in Brooklyn

If you and your child are interested please contact me and I'll add you to the list.

Once we get enough kids to start I'll announce a date and go from there.

If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to message me:

work: dpreciado@wetafx.co.nz

personal: dave.preciado@gmail.com

See you on the mats!

Poll: Should drivers retake the theory test every 10 years?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

Drivers get where they need to go, but sometimes it seems that we are all abiding by different road rules (for example, the varying ways drivers indicate around a roundabout).
Do you think drivers should be required to take a quick driving theory test every 10 years?

Vote in the poll and share any road rules that you've seen bent! 😱
