Fundraiser
In conjunction With Wairarapa Care Network, Clareville Nursery & Garden Centre are now a drop off point for Auction & fundraising items. Anything in a bottle (clean out your bathroom cupboard and see if you have any full bottles of shampoo, perfume etc), vouchers or small items are greatly appreciated! Due to licensing laws we are unable to accept wine, beer, etc. This is in aid of the Hospice Wairarapa! All proceeds are going to the wonderful team at Hospice Wairarapa. Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
