What's on at our Strathmore Centres

Toni Taylor from Strathmore Park Community Centre Trust

Kia ora!

A huge thank you to the ‘Strathmore Bakery’ for the free bakery that we have been gratefully receiving for years! Every week is different but amongst the lovely mix of goodies we recieve pies, cakes, sandwhiches and cream donuts to share amongst our drop in whanau.

Tuesday bakery allocation will now go to Raukawa. Our Raukawa user numbers have been steadily increasing as people get to know the centre, the lovely Ava and the great services that are offered there.
108 Strathmore Ave will still continue as normal in receiving bakery on Fridays.

Join us for a cuppa and treat each week, at your choice of centre!

Community Lunch is today! Tuesday 14th Aug, 12pm. You are welcome to bring a plate or just join in for a yummy cooked meal, a catch up and chat. Always laughter at some point of the meal.

Michael our Budget man is back on the 20th August. Onsite 10am-11.30am each Mon and Tuesday, 108 Strathmore Ave.
And also at Raukawa Centre 10 – 11am Wednesday mornings.

Poll: Should drivers retake the theory test every 10 years?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

Drivers get where they need to go, but sometimes it seems that we are all abiding by different road rules (for example, the varying ways drivers indicate around a roundabout).
Do you think drivers should be required to take a quick driving theory test every 10 years?

Vote in the poll and share any road rules that you've seen bent! 😱
