Effective regulation of insurance contracts is important so that consumers, businesses and insurers can transact with confidence in a fair, efficient and transparent way...
The Minister of Commerce and Consumer Affairs has released an issues paper for public consultation....
The issues paper describes the issues that MBIE has heard regarding insurance contract law and conduct in the insurance industry. We are looking for evidence to improve our understanding of these issues and inform our advice to Ministers regarding what should be done about them.
This stage of the review provides an opportunity for you to have your say on the issues surrounding insurance contracts and conduct in New Zealand. We strongly encourage you to make a submission.
