To keep the community we serve up to date, Whakatu RDA are now producing this Newsletter a few times a year to keep you up to date with the horses, riders and events.
There are people who depend so much on the unique therapy they gain from riding and we, as an organisation, depend totally on the support of the community to hekp us keep going, with the supply of volunteers and the necessary funds to pay our bills. We do hope you enjoy this first edition of our Newsletter and our GiveALittle site is always open to donations. Come and see what we do - you will be amazed!

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
