Papanui High School Furniture Polishing and Restoration Course

Papanui High School is offering a Furniture Polishing and Restoration class the weekend of 23 & 24 June. The course is being taught by Mike Fullen from Seatons French Polishers and runs both days between 9 am - 4 pm at a cost of $203. Students will learn the basics of stripping, sanding and repolishing their own items of furniture. This is a hands on course and students need to bring an item of furniture eg a chair, coffee table, nest of tables or tea wagon to work on. The course fee includes the cost of all materials. WANTED - Hat Blocks & Hat Making Equipment PLEASE..

Can anyone help.. My daughter is interested in starting to attempt to make hats as a hobby.
I was wondering if anyone might have any old wooden hat blocks (similar to the one pictured) or any old hat making tools or equipment that they no longer use and would like them to go to a good home.
