Connect Group - Home group discussion

Graham from Owhata

Hi there Owhata neighbours. Just letting you know that I have formed a 'connect group'. The intention of this group is to be able to connect with those in my neighbourhood in a, as maori would say 'kanohi ki te kanohi' or face to face in the flesh forum. Call it a meeting of neighbours discussing things like news, current events and also asking for and offering advice about the issues of life. The group has been going for over a month and it has been really special. I am a born again Christian and I offer up my bible based views into the discussion. So as you can imagine, the discussion involving Israel Folaus comments recently was eventful to say the least. And the group is continually growing too with a bunch of really awesome people. So come along to 30 Burton Place, Owhata tonight at 7pm. Please bring a plate for potluck afterwards. My name is Graham 0275119366
PS : The ages of those attending are so varied. Bar the kids (for there are a few) the youngest attending is 18 through to our oldest 70)

Poll: Should drivers retake the theory test every 10 years?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

Drivers get where they need to go, but sometimes it seems that we are all abiding by different road rules (for example, the varying ways drivers indicate around a roundabout).
Do you think drivers should be required to take a quick driving theory test every 10 years?

Vote in the poll and share any road rules that you've seen bent! 😱
