We are asking for donations of kitten and cat food please.
The Upper Hutt Animal Rescue Society have had a bumper kitten season this year and we also have quite a few cats still at the Haven. This means that once again we are going through a lot of feline food to feed our lovely fur babies.
Can you help us please. We have food collection bins at Upper Hutt Pak n Save and Maidstone Countdown. But of course if you want some cat and kitten cuddles, you can always drop them in here at Haven. We are at 4 King Charles Drive, Kingsley Heights and open from 10am – 2pm weekdays, and 10am – 3pm weekends.
Our fur babies say “mmmmeeeeooooowwww” (feline speak for thanks)
Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.
