The Playcentre Bug š
**Public Health Warning Notice** There has been a severe outbreak of "Playcentre Toe" in the PaekÄkÄriki community. Symptoms include splotchy colourful marks, usually starting on your tamariki then quickly spreading to your toes... fingers... all limbs, and in some cases the face. ("Facial Playcentre Toe" is often not picked up for hours and hours until after you've been shopping and you're wondering why people have been looking at you weirdly all day). "Playcentre Toe" is very infectious, and there is no cure...once you have the Playcentre Bug, there's no looking back. Feel free to add pics of your own "Playcentre Toe" outbreaks. We encourage you to come along to your local Playcentre and get your splotches...before they get you. PaekÄkÄriki centre is open Mon, Tues, Weds and Fri 9.15 - 11.45 Please spread this important health message to those you love! š

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldnāt be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
