If you have a Community Services Card, Wellington Curtain Bank can give you free, lined curtains for your home. Curtains are a great way of keeping your house cool in summer, and warmer in winter. They can help keep your power bills down and your family healthier.

Wellington Curtain Bank is now open for orders, and there can be long waits in winter so it’s a good idea to get in while the sun is still warming your home! Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
