Liquor Industry demanding more outlets maybe near you!

Colin from Harewood

Folks please click and read this link:

www.stuff.co.nz...

Here we go again the liquor industry putting "the heat on our Council to relax the already lax liquor rules!
We proved in the recent Trafford Street case, after a real hard fight where over 1,100 neighbours signed our petition that the bulk of the residents have had enough intrusions into their residential areas!
We now have to be prepared to add the heat on to ALL the Councillors who prefer these decisions are made away from the public gaze.
Ring , write or call your Council member insisting they heed public opinion!
The liquor industry will never be satisfied and the rash of outlets could well spread further and more intensely.
We need people to rally - too late when it arrives near you folks.
Kind regards, Colin I Fussell 360 3130

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.
