Keep your eyes peeled for our Specials & Competitions
With dairy prices seemingly reaching for the skies, it's time people got some milk for free!
Riverside Milk is running regular competitions on our Facebook page to give everyone the chance to get some free milk. We will soon also announce another campaign, set out to directly support families who are struggling to make ends meet...
Together with our already existing weekly 'Food For Families' donation, we are hoping to make a small difference in some peoples life. So, if you or anyone you care about, may need a little support or simply loves our milk and cannot get enough of it, please keep your eyes peeled and stay tuned to our Facebook page...
Please be aware that Riverside Milk is raw milk and that the Ministry of Primary Industries advices the following: ‘‘Raw milk may contain microorganisms that can cause serious illness. To reduce the risk of illness, raw milk should be heated to at least 70 degree Celsius for one minute. This is critical for infants, young children, the elderly, pregnant women and people with weakened immune systems.’
What's your favourite tomato recipe?
Kia ora neighbours. We know your tomato plants are still growing, but we're looking ahead to the harvest already! If you've got a family recipe for tomatoes, we'd love to see it and maybe publish it in our magazine to share with our readers. Send your recipe to mailbox@nzgardener.co.nz, and if we use it in the mag, you will receive a free copy of our February 2025 issue.
