A send off for a local tabby cat found deceased

Christine Blance from Christchurch South Community Gardens

Hi to Spreydon and Sydenham Neighbours,

Kate ( Burns St) and I ( Christine - Strickland St Community Gardens) buried a lovely cat found deceased on the corner of Deyell and Strickland St last night. We took it to the local vet to check for a microchip but none was found. It was a small light brown tabby with a white front. The fur seemed slightly long and silky. We buried Tabby at the Christchurch South Community Gardens in an area that is becoming a small cemetery for cats - it is a special place that will not ever be dug up by us or disturbed. If you think this is your cat - feel free to stop by at the gardens anytime or contact me on Ph. 9426630. Christine
