Brendan Foot Supersite Kids Cross Country Series - Tawa
The next event in the Brendan Foot Supersite Kids Cross Country Series is at Grenada North Park in Tawa. The Olympic Harrier & Athletic Club is hosting this event in partnership with Athletics Wellington. Each event has 500+ kids, aged 4 to 13. Enter by 7pm Sunday 2 July in time to get a personalised race bib on the day. Or you can enter right up till the event and even on the day. The Kids Cross Country Series was recently named as a finalist in the Wellington Airport Regional Community Awards. The series is now into its fifth year, and the Olympic Club in Tawa has been involved since the beginning. Come along and support this event in Tawa on Sunday 9th July.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
