YOU DON’T NEED TO BE A SINGER TO ENJOY SINGING!

Join our Singing-4-Fun Workshops. Build your confidence to sing out loud in a group and have some fun singing popular songs.

You will learn breathing techniques, warm-up exercises, how to find the right pitch for your voice and much more. Later on you’ll learn how to harmonise and sing solo (if you want – no pressure)
. This course taught by Paul Seymour is being held at Papanui High School on a Monday night beginning 31 July 7.45-8.45 pm for 7 weeks at a cost of $97. For further information and enrolment email Barbara Roper rpb@papanui.school.nz or telephone our office on 3520701.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
