Matariki competition
Matariki – the Maori New Year – is a time to gather with family and friends to reflect on the past, celebrate the present, and plan for the future. Matariki is also a great time to acknowledge the people that matter to us.
We have some yummy Whittaker’s chocolate to give away. To be in to win, tag a friend on our Facebook event page www.facebook.com... to tell them why they matter to you and let them know what hopes you have for them in the coming year.
The competition closes at 5pm next Sunday, 25 June, and a winner will be randomly drawn and announced on Monday lunchtime.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
