Men's Shed News

Robert Fraser from Rolleston Men's Shed

We are busy at the Men's Shed building pipe sculptures that will be erected in local parks, computer stands for the library a book exchange for the Prebbleton community committee and several other projects for our local community.
One of our key members is vice chairman Stehen Rushton. Stephen works for Orion as a faultman and has always worked in the electricity industry. He started as an operator controller for a power station and has worked in industrial electrical and power supply line jobs. Stephen enjoys the company of other men at the Shed and doing work for the comunity.

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
