The Life of a Tibetan Monk in a Monastery: Public Talk in Nelson!

Geshe Tharchin will share his personal experience living and studying in a Monastic University. Listening this inspiring story we will be able to discover a living view on the life of a Tibetan Monk in a Tibetan Monastery, their way of practice, study and train in order to become a Geshe (the highest learned degree in a Tibetan monastery university).

$10 Waged/ $5 Unwaged donation at the door.

Geshela has studied Buddhist philosophy for more than 20 years completing his monastic studies to the highest level and has extensive meditation experience. He has a profound knowledge of both meditation and study and coupled with his very warm and engaging teaching style makes him a very popular and enjoyable teacher.
