Seeking Volunteer Drivers/Companions
Hi Everyone,
Our service is seeking volunteer drivers/companions due to the increase in patient/passenger bookings. We have made over 600 trips since our launch in November 2015, we currently have 220+ North Waikato service users in our booking system, transport to Waikato Hospital and Hamilton specialist appointments, totaling 938 bookings in the system.
(Statistics Coordinator Health Shuttle Booking System).
Following this we are applying to funders/sponsors for grants to purchase a second vehicle which will service LOCAL residents doctors appointments and urgent needs. If you are interested in joining our volunteer team (must have clean full license) and would like to know more please call Sheryl coordinator Community Health Shuttle.
