Poll: What are you doing to help Tokoroa air quality

Luke Kirkeby Reporter from South Waikato News

Tokoroa has been breaching national air quality standards 15 to 20 times every winter since recording began in 2005 and has until September 2020 to get breaches down to the standards' leeway of one every 12 months. The main contributors to the poor air quality are old woodburners, people burning wet, painted or treated wood, dirty chimneys, and inadequate flue heights. Are you doing anything to help?

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.
