Chris Finnerty

Privately positioned upon an easy-care, rear section is this charming home that has been thoughtfully updated to accommodate a modern lifestyle. Enjoying a hint of character paired with contemporary convenience, this home truly boasts the best of both worlds and a brilliant example of the latter being summed up by the ducted heat pump system which can be controlled by your phone for absolute ease of living. The open plan living area is superbly configured and features an attractive mixture of oak floors and neutral hues while the vibrant feature wall provides a pop of colour. Double doors off the lounge aid the seamless transition out to the partially sheltered and private patio which is an ideal area to unwind with a good book or beverage in the sunshine. Year-round comfort is assured with the presence of a pellet fire which exudes warmth and ambience while a fibre connected built-in modem and router, with two rooms conveniently hard wired, is a further advantage. Completing this enticing package are three well-proportioned bedrooms, two modern bathrooms, one with tiled shower, and the other with a bath. The property has a single internal access garage in conjunction with off-street parking, and a delightful garden setting that requires minimal upkeep. Conveniently situated less than five minutes’ drive from the various amenities at The Colombo, you also have easy access to the central city and Cashmere hills which are less than 10-minutes away while zoning for Cashmere High School further underpins your investment. This property is sure to impress, and your earliest viewing is encouraged. Contact me for more information.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.
