Giving a hand
If you have been promising yourself that you would help make a difference in our community then this might be the time. A new year, a new start. You can help the Morrinsville Museum function at its best with a band of volunteers who either work on a regular basis or undertake specific projects. Cool in the summer, warm in the winter, meet new friends, learn about our past and feel that you are contributing. Whatever the reason you would be most welcome to find out more by sending a message to Morrinsville Museum.
Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
