FREE ROOSTER WEEK AT SPCA AUCKLAND!

Danielle Tucker from

As the last of the Chinese New Year celebrations took place this weekend, we are now officially in the zodiac year of the Rooster!

To mark this, and with this week also coinciding with Valentine's Day, we thought what better way to share the love than with a FREE ROOSTER WEEK!

From 13-20 Feb, our Rooster's will be available for adoption to a suitable and loving home free of charge.

So, if you are looking for a leader of the flock, someone to sing beautiful songs to you, or just simply a cool and clever companion, then visit our Roosters today!

We have a whopping TEN Roosters looking for a good home. If you have a rural property or lifestyle block, can you make their dreams come true and be their cupid this week?

Check out the Roosters for Adoption here: www.spcaauckland.org.nz...
Or visit them at our Animal Village. We are at 50 Westney Road, Mangere and are open 10am-4pm, 7 days <3

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.
