We'd love you to join us at our fortnightly card and board games group. Restarting this Thurs 2nd Feb 1:15pm - 4pm at Papanui Baptist, 144 Sawyers Arms Rd. Have fun, make new friends and enjoy afternoon tea. Cost $3. Scrabble, 500 and Euchre are the main games played but others may be added. Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
