Karori Cemetery 1918 Influenza Project Working Bee
There is a working bee at Karori Cemetery on Sunday 2.00pm - 4.00pm to clean headstones and plaques, and do weeding and general tidying of plots where people who died in the 1918 influenza epidemic are buried. Meet at Crematorium Chapel just before 2.00pm - for more information about the project, and what to bring, contact Barbara on flu1918karori@gmail.com
The project continues until November 2018 so there will be plenty of opportunities to participate if next Sunday doesn't suit. There's a Facebook page too - www.facebook.com... - which will post regular updates and information
