Coastguard VHF Channels have changed!
The Coastguard-monitored VHF Channels for both the inner and outer Hauraki Gulf have now changed.
Outer Hauraki Gulf: now Channel 60 (formerly 82)
Inner Hauraki Gulf: now Channel 64 (formerly 80)
Channel 16 remains the same.
Please SHARE this info to make sure all boaties know to use the new channels from now on - the old channels are no longer monitored.
Attached are the details for the whole of New Zealand.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
