We own and operate the storage dams, treatment plants, pipes and water meters that make the District's water supply network.

Our systems provide approximately nine million cubic metres of treated water annually to about 80% of the District's population.

The average daily production through our water treatment plants is approximately 25,000 cubic metres, all of which is treated to meet the standards developed by Taumata Arowai, who are the Water Services Regulator for Aotearoa.

Water quality

The Water Supply Bylaw protects the water supply and sets out customers' entitlements and responsibilities.
