We needed temporary storage which ended up being 4 years. During this time with occasional visits to our storage locker we were very impressed by the security, cleanliness and ease of access. We also appreciated the monthly reminders for payment as well as notification when access was restricted for whatever reason. We were extremely happy to have chosen Kiwi Self Storage.
The staff were very kind and welcoming and made sure that I knew how to get around the facilities. I needed the unit in a pinch and they were able to get me the perfect size unit that same day and were able to refund me for the time I didn't need when I ended up moving out with a couple of days notice. Fantastic storage unit in Ellerslie, close to the motorway, clean & safe. I had a great experience; Kelvin and team were very helpful in finding the right size unit, fair prices, great opening opening hours and super helpful with advice around moving and packing material. As a woman, I would like to point out that it is also safe and I felt totally fine bringing or picking up items myself. They have plenty lifting / moving equipment there to transport items from the car to the unit. Highly recommend!
Roger got back to me ASAP and I was able to secure a container on the day of moving out of my flat. They even offer a free trailer to help move things out of your house so if you’ve got the strength, you don’t actually need to hire movers/van! They were so amazing and took a lot of stress off my hands - highly recommend! Everyone I dealt with was super lovely and accommodating to my needs as well - I’m stoked with finding this place!
This was an excellent storage facility. Easy access and our antique furniture was dry and safe after 18 months.

I was most impressed with Kiwi Self Storage Ellerslie. Peter and Carolyn-the managers were friendly and great to deal with. They answered my questions that I had during initial set up. The unit was clean and tidy. There were trolleys to load your possessions on to and there was a lift that would take your items to the level in which your storage unit was on. Excellent security to get to storage unit. Highly recommend this storage facility.
We used this facility for 2 years to store all our household effects and business records during home repairs. It was very convenient, always clean and tidy, secure and safe, reasonably priced and accessible. The staff were always very helpful and professional. We would highly recommend it.
