A fund dedicated to supporting those going through tough hospital admissions.
Wellington
After numerous hospital admissions for both medical and mental health reasons at Wellington Children's Hospital and Wellington Regional Hospital in my teens, I realized the lack of support given to teens. While there is a wealth of resources available for younger kids, there is not the same level of aid for teens. It was due to this that I decided to found The Raindrop Project, a project dedicated to providing supplies to teens in hospitals and inpatient settings. We deliver packs with activities, toiletries, and other items to make their stays run more smoothly. With our current level of support, we assist those who are patients at Wellington Children's Hospital, the RRAIS unit, and the CREDS inpatient unit. I hope to expand and eventually deliver to all of the wards of Wellington Hospital.
Providing kits of supplies to help teens in hospitals have a smoother stay.
Funds will be managed by my dad, Tom Murphy.
